This project, the basis of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) between SET and Central Saint Martins, provides an exciting opportunity for a Master’s-level graduate to work on a highly strategic spatial architecture project with SET - arts and community organisation based in London providing affordable artist workspace and an eclectic and experimental arts programme.
Job Responsibility:
Work on a highly strategic spatial architecture project with SET
Support SETs ambition to grow the charity
Based at SET studios in Vauxhall, with some travel to other SET sites, as required
Requirements:
Educated to degree level (min. 2:1) in Architecture or Spatial Practices
Proficiency in architectural and multi-stakeholder projects, specifically in internal fit-outs, adaptive re-use and/or reusable or flexible/modular systems
Knowledge of contemporary artists practices and spaces
Strategic thinker in a creative industries context, with an understanding of local policies related to cultural infrastructure
Understanding of the charity surplus-generating model
Be able to take ownership of a significant and challenging project, which has economic and environmental priorities
Take a structured approach to project management
Be an excellent communicator across varied stakeholder needs
Be self motivated and resourceful
Nice to have:
Relevant Masters or PhD level experience is desirable, reflecting the need for theoretical knowledge and research enquiry
