Job Description:

Spare part Engineer to Global Spare Parts Center in Pulp, Energy and Circularity Services! Valmet’s PEC Service Global Spare Parts Center provides spare parts technical support to the whole pulp mill technologies. We are now looking for two Spare Part Engineers to join our technical support team, focusing on energy and chemical recovery technologies, causticizing and cooking technologies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the global customer service areas to supply the most suitable technical spare part solution for the customer needs in timely manner
  • Navigating through engineering tools to identify the needed spare parts, creating new parts, and exploration of alternative solutions
  • Work closely with our frontline global customer service teams and other functions, such as Engineering, Product teams and Global Supply
  • Prepare and deliver spare part recommendations to support product lifecycle needs to customers´ installations and our digital tool platforms/systems
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of tools, systems and processes

Requirements:

  • B.Sc. in relevant technology, e.g. mechanical engineering, process engineering or environmental engineering
  • Basic knowledge of pulp industry process equipment’s, especially energy and chemical recovery, causticizing and cooking technologies
  • Solid understanding of technical drawings and documents
  • Analyzing skills and ability to handle larger entities
  • Good skills in problem solving, communication and decision-making
  • Good social skills and ability to work in a global organization
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • IT skills: MS Office & Outlook
