Job Description:

The Spare Part Management Officer will play a pivotal role in managing and ensuring the availability of spare parts and components, requiring meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a major aeronautics and space company.

Job Responsibility:

  • Extract and process data from SAP, including part number, serial number, and descriptions
  • transfer aircraft component information into the Maintenance Data System
  • generate and upload component updates in XML
  • track spare parts data including flight hours and landings
  • collaborate closely with both the customer and their teams
  • monitor the progress of parts for uploads and mission readiness
  • address data accuracy issues to prevent delays or errors
  • proactively resolve potential problems impacting operations
  • work independently with high levels of detail and accuracy
  • liaise with the customer to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

  • Effective collaboration and clear communication abilities
  • basic knowledge of Excel and XML
  • familiarity with IT systems is a plus
  • basic airspace knowledge is advantageous
  • knowledge of VBA coding (not required but highly valued)
  • strong analytical skills to address MDS system issues
  • ability to work autonomously with high precision without direct supervision
