Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Spanish-Speaking Customer Service Representative to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This is a long-term contract position within the non-profit sector, offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while utilizing your expertise in customer support. The ideal candidate will bring professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound member calls, providing clear and empathetic support
  • Record detailed notes and input accurate information into the organization's database systems
  • Educate members on policies, procedures, and next steps to ensure clarity and satisfaction
  • Provide recommendations on best practices and required documentation based on individual member inquiries
  • Utilize software tools such as SharePoint, web-based databases, and Microsoft Office Suite to manage tasks efficiently
  • Collaborate with team members to address complex member concerns and provide resolutions
  • Uphold strict attendance and professionalism standards to maintain excellent service delivery
  • Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking members when required, ensuring their needs are met
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures during all interactions
  • Handle additional assigned duties to support the overall operations of the customer service team

Requirements:

  • Bilingual Spanish skills required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a call center or corporate customer service environment
  • Proficiency in using SharePoint, web-based databases, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy
  • Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • All candidates are required to undergo a comprehensive screening process

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a Spanish Bilingual call center highly preferred
  • Familiarity with union contracts and related processes is a plus
