The Spanish Production team produces Spanish-language broadcast and digital content, including live and pre-recorded programming, for Spanish-speaking audiences worldwide. This department works closely with production, editorial, and on-air talent teams to deliver culturally relevant, high-quality content across platforms. Their work supports global audience growth and plays a key role in expanding the organization’s reach within Spanish-speaking markets.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as a Production Assistant by supporting production staff and crew during on-location and in-studio shoots
Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment, sets, and production spaces before and after shoots
Log, upload, and organize video footage within the production asset management system to ensure accurate tracking and retrieval
Maintain and organize digital media assets in accordance with established workflows and naming conventions
Create and distribute video links for internal review and online distribution as needed
Download and ingest content from third-party partners or clients into internal systems
Assist with basic video editing tasks under the guidance of the production team
Transcribe video content to support editing, archiving, and accessibility needs
Download, prepare, and organize video files for various production and distribution purposes
Support the Spanish Production team with additional projects, tasks, and administrative duties as needed
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree program directly related to the role, such as Television, Film, Communications, Journalism, or a similar discipline
Junior, Senior, or Graduate-level standing preferred
Fluency in both Spanish and English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate professionally in both languages
Willingness to learn and develop production knowledge and skills, with a primary focus on post-production and live television broadcasting
Working proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite tools, including Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Comfortable working on Mac-based systems and learning new software and production tools
Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to take ownership of delegated tasks and follow projects through to completion
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
