Learna AI is an innovative AI-powered language learning application that delivers personalized, conversation-first learning experiences. We are seeking a Spanish Language Learning Designer to join our growing product studio. In this role, you will design engaging Spanish lesson content and structured learning flows aligned with proven language teaching methodologies. You will collaborate closely with product managers, AI product engineers, and designers to continuously improve the learning experience, ensuring content is pedagogically effective, engaging, and seamlessly integrated into the app. This position focuses on Spanish language learning, contributing directly to Learna’s expansion beyond English.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design & Develop Spanish Learning Content: Create lesson structures, guided conversations, exercises, and interactive activities for Spanish learners, ensuring content is pedagogically sound, level appropriate, and engaging
  • Structure Learning Flows: Design and sequence lessons, learning logic, conversation modules, and role-play scenarios to optimize learner engagement, retention, and progression across different proficiency levels
  • Iterate & Improve with Data & Testing: Continuously test learning flows and content effectiveness. Analyze learner behavior and feedback, and iterate on prompts while collaborating with the AI product engineering team to refine and improve the overall experience
  • Support New Features & Contents: Work closely with product managers and designers to develop Spanish content for new app features, ensuring Spanish experiences integrate smoothly into the overall UX and product vision
  • Apply Language Teaching Methodologies: Leverage modern language teaching approaches such as Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), Task-Based Learning (TBL), and interaction-focused methodologies to create effective Spanish learning experiences
  • Use Digital & AI Tools: Utilize educational technology and digital content creation AI tools at an intermediate level as part of your content development process. (You’ll have opportunities to grow and further develop these technical skills on the job.)

Requirements:

  • Passion for Teaching Spanish: A strong interest in Spanish language education and helping learners gain real communicative confidence
  • Spanish Language Teaching Expertise: Solid knowledge or background in teaching Spanish as a foreign or second language, including grammar, vocabulary progression, and communicative practice
  • Education / Experience: 0–2 years of experience in language education, curriculum design, content creation, or a related field
  • Methodology Awareness: Familiarity with contemporary language teaching methodologies and the ability to apply them effectively to digital learning content
  • Tech & AI Curiosity: Comfort with digital learning tools or strong interest in AI-powered education platforms. Willingness to experiment with new technologies and adapt content accordingly
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including product, design, and AI engineering

Nice to have:

  • Experience working on an EdTech product, language learning app, or e-learning platform
  • Academic background in Linguistics, Spanish Language Teaching, Education, Applied Linguistics, or related fields
