Job Description:

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Space Systems Test Engineer to support a classified DoD program in El Segundo, CA. The team is seeking a systems engineer to perform hardware and software verification tests of space systems and subsystems for a critical mission.

Job Responsibility:

  • Contributes to the creation and validation of test methodologies
  • Executes comprehensive test procedures, including defining instrumentation and configurations to reduce risk within the parameters of the test plan
  • Develops targeted solutions for calibration system issues with limited scope and impact
  • Designs test hardware, software, and systems to meet specified testing requirements
  • Processes, analyzes, and formats data in alignment with customer specifications
  • Evaluates test data—including anomalies—for accuracy, quality, and fidelity prior to customer delivery
  • Compiles and publishes test reports to document outcomes and fulfill requirements
  • Communicates test results to internal stakeholders
  • Organize and archive test data and reports

Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
  • Bachelors of Science in engineering, engineering technology, STEM
  • 3-5+ years of experience working with specialized test equipment, instrumentation using electrical engineering test methodologies
  • 3-5+ years experience performing automated tests and troubleshooting electronics equipment, hardware, and software
  • Experience working in a lab or production environment
  • Experience in software tools based in C#
