Job Responsibility:

  • Leading systems engineering efforts in satellite projects throughout the entire system lifecycle
  • Performing mission and system level trade-off analyses
  • Preparing and oversight of technical documentation
  • Technical management of subcontractors and partners within project consortiums

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of space systems (at least 3 years of experience in space industry in relevant projects)
  • Fundamental technical understanding in the following domains: electronics, mechanics, thermal control, software (including FPGA), orbital mechanics
  • Well established understanding of systems engineering processes
  • Hands-on experience in requirements definition and management using Doors-like requirements management tool
  • Experience in creating technical documentation according to ECSS
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Very good English in speaking and writing

Nice to have:

  • Experience in working on systems with flight heritage (TRL 9)
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Practical experience with MBSE
  • Experience in working with European Space Agency, European Commission and European Defense Agency
