Job Description:

A vacancy for a Product Security Technical Leader h/f position has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Toulouse (Palays site). The jobholder will contribute to ensure the Security of Airbus Defence and Space - Space Systems products and supporting services and systems. The jobholder will be in charge of the coordination of the Space Systems Product Security activities from Bids to end-of-life of all the SpS Products (Telecom, Navigation, Earth Observation and Science systems) notably regarding the risk analysis, the definition and specification of the security solutions of Space Systems products and their development, test, integration, production and support throughout their lifecycle. The jobholder will have a supporting role in the ongoing definition, development and support of product security policies and business documentation required to ensure that Airbus Defence and Space products are developed securely to a defined standard.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure that Airbus Defence and Space products are developed securely to a defined standard
  • Define the security requirements for products and information systems, notably regarding the compliance on the national and international security regulations like NIS2, CRA, LOS
  • Prepare the SpS Product and Services Security Board and the SpS Product and Services Security Steering Committee and follow-up the related actions
  • Prepare, anticipate and adapt SpS product security policy: Anticipate future threats, define requirements of secure new architectures and new security solution
  • Secure the overall SpS products through their entire lifecycle: Secure product design against threats and ensure compliance to customers, authorities’ requirements and Airbus corporate security
  • Support product security in manufacturing and delivering: Secure product against threats from Airbus and suppliers e-tools productions environment
  • Support product security in operation and maintenance: Contribute to maintain security level in operation and services development
  • Implement the Product security Incident and Event Management
  • Promote product security inside and outside company: Develop and maintain product security Faculty with ADS Academy, standardizations
  • Perform technical and progress meetings with the Project Security team
  • Communicate with different Airbus stakeholders
  • Contribute to follow-up the implementation of remediation action plans
  • Prepare documentation related to these assessments (minutes of meetings, reports)
  • The industrialization of the Security Risk Analysis for Space Systems domains
  • The Airbus product security policies, methods and tools
  • Act as primary technical contact for team members in daily business
  • Support workload planning of the team members
  • Conduct regular technical team meetings
  • Support the HO / First Line Manager with technical input for JRs and job descriptions
  • Coach team members on technical topics

Requirements:

  • Cybersecurity Engineering – 3 years Minimum
  • Space System – 5 years
  • A minimum 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity/Space systems engineering
  • Background in Space System Activities (E2E system, satellite or ground segment)
  • Operational experience in System Engineering and Development
  • Information security standards and their implementation supporting the DGA/ANSSI policies and guidance (frameworks such as NIST, desirable)
  • Systems and applications security architecture design
  • Threats and risk analysis methods and tools (e.g. EBIOS/PILAR/MAGERIT)
  • Typical risk management decisions and necessary mitigations
  • Creation and management of Product Security documentation in accordance with the BMS (PSLMP, PSCP)
  • Impacts of regulation on Product Security
  • Understanding of Security Management concepts within customer organizations across the Airbus Defence and Space client base
  • Strong Team spirit (cooperation, solidarity and mutual support within and across teams)
  • Strong knowledge of Security Evaluation, Certification and Accreditation Processes
  • Solid understanding of networking and communications protocols
  • Solid knowledge of E2E Space systems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
