A position of Industrial Architect is now open at Airbus CRISA (Airbus Defense & Space) in Tres Cantos (Madrid area). In our industrialization department, our mission is guarantee the technical / digital means needed to execute manufacturing and tests processes for Space Electronic equipment with excellent performance. Our way of working is built upon trust, based on the principles of collaboration & cooperation, autonomy / accountability and flexibility. Our activities are split into missions whose set-up are integrated in different Space business: Launchers, Earth Exploration (Copernicus), Space Exploration (Artemis), Commercial (Telecommunications Satellites). Job Responsibility

  • Define, specify, implement and support Test Industrial projects for Space Areas from the beginning until the work environment is align with quality, time and cost objectives
  • Simulate scenarios and define way forward for Test Production ramp up
  • Define standard way of working and governance model for Test Areas - Processes, Work Stations, Manufacturing sequence, Lay out, Workflows, Incident/ Non conformity treatment, PPS, Panels
  • Lead Industrial point of view for Design for manufacturing processes in collaboration with Engineering Test department
  • Define, specify, buy, deploy and support for new Industrial Test means (Climatic / vacuum test chambers and shakers) according to customers requirement and ergonomics standards
  • Lead continuous improvement of the existing Test areas / means, implementing best practices according to Quality, Cost and Time, mainly increasing its automatization approach
  • Define and execute Preventive and Corrective maintenance plan of Test equipment
  • Provide support to customer (projects) during Vibration, Vacuum and Thermal test campaigns, including technical assessment and contributing actively to find adequate solutions

Requirements

  • Higher Education (Grade or Master) related to Industrial, Electronic, or Aeronautic Engineering
  • At least 5 years experienced leading Industrialization / Improvement Projects in Test Areas (Production and Test Systems, Lean, MES..)
  • Previous experience with Vacuum systems, Climatic, Thermal chambers and Shakers maintenance and control
  • Digital mindset (automation of tasks, scripting, use of digital design tools and simulators)
  • English Language proficiency
  • Proactive, well organized, autonomous and with clear Team Work value
  • Continuous improvement orientation
  • Customer support approach, including Openness and Flexibility
  • Leader and booster for change management
  • Keen interest in Space Business
