Job Description:

You will be responsible for the flawless running of our newest site, Yu Spa Edinburgh. You will take pride in creating a relaxing retreat within the hotel, giving guests a memorable, friendly spa experience. No two days are the same and being able to multitask, prioritise and self-motivate is key. You will be leading, mentoring, and inspiring the spa team while working alongside other hotel team members. You will be a trusted advisor to the key stakeholders in the spa team along with the Head of Spa who you will report into.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for all daily Yu Spa Treatment operations, including scheduling of staff to meet business demand and ensuring high levels of guest service, cleanliness, and knowledge of services
  • Deliver treatments yourself as the business needs require
  • Monitor and control KPIs within the department focusing on occupancy, utilisation, and yield within beauty treatment
  • Focus on Self-development and development of the Spa team
  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness exist in all areas of responsibility
  • Receive, manage, and respond to all guest feedback via all channels including Reviewpro
  • Resolve any guest issues when they arise and share feedback as appropriate with all team members

Requirements:

  • Previous management experience in a quality spa setting, ideally in a hotel
