Job Description:

The Spa Therapist role involves providing massage and body treatments, maintaining cleanliness, promoting spa services, and adhering to company standards. Candidates must have a state or regional massage license, technical or vocational school education, and at least one year of related work experience.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver massage and body treatments
Escort guests to treatment areas
Promote spa services and retail offerings
Maintain cleanliness of workstation and tools
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Anticipate and address guest service needs
Report accidents and unsafe conditions
Develop positive working relationships

Requirements:

Provide massage services
Provide body treatments using scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy
Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications
Maintain current techniques and skills
Escort guests to and from treatment rooms
Arrange workstation, treatment room, and drapes
Promote and sell spa/salon services
Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools
Handle inappropriate guest behavior as per policies
Maintain regional service licensure
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Grasp and manipulate objects
Move and place objects up to 10 pounds without assistance
Technical, trade, or vocational school degree
At least 1 year of related work experience
State or Regional Massage License
