Our Spa Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and members, creating a welcoming and professional experience from arrival to departure. You will play a key role in managing spa reservations, guest inquiries, retail sales, administrative functions, and daily reception operations while ensuring exceptional service standards are consistently delivered. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for wellness and hospitality.
Job Responsibility
Welcome guests and members warmly, ensuring a personalized and seamless spa experience
Manage spa reservations, appointments, cancellations, and schedule updates using the spa management system
Communicate appointment details and schedule changes promptly to therapists and spa team members
Process guest payments, charges, memberships, gift certificates, and retail transactions accurately
Maintain daily cashier reports, accounting records, and reconciliation procedures in accordance with established policies
Read, update, and communicate relevant information from the daily logbook to ensure smooth operations
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and maintain organized guest and membership records
Promote spa treatments, memberships, packages, and retail products to maximize revenue opportunities
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on spa services, wellness products, and treatment benefits
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of retail products, office supplies, guest amenities, and spa linen items
Prepare regular operational reports, including membership status, expired memberships, attendance statistics, birthday reports, therapist commissions, and monthly performance reports
Ensure the reception area, juice bar, guest waiting areas, and surrounding facilities remain clean, organized, and always welcoming
Respond professionally to guest feedback, requests, and concerns, escalating issues when necessary
Maintain confidentiality of guest information and financial records
Follow all hotel safety, security, emergency, and operational procedures
Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned by Spa Management
Requirements
Previous experience in a spa, wellness, hospitality, or front office environment preferred
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Arabic language skills are an advantage
Experience with spa booking systems, property management systems, or point-of-sale systems is preferred
Strong organizational and administrative abilities with excellent attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Basic accounting, cash-handling, and reporting skills
Sales-oriented approach with the ability to recommend services and retail products confidently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer systems
Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
Due to local labor law, applicants must hold work authorization for Jordan, namely a Jordanian ID
