The Spa Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for spa guests, providing a warm welcome and orientation upon arrival. This role is responsible for booking spa, wellness, and recreational services, managing guest check‑in and check‑out, and delivering consistently courteous, efficient, and professional service.
Job Responsibility:
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
Clearly communicate, accurately book, and effectively sell all spa, fitness, and wellness services and products, including massages, facials, specialty treatments, salon services, personal training, and retail offerings
Utilize all required computer and reservation systems to manage bookings and guest information
Balance therapist and treatment room schedules to maximize spa productivity while maintaining fairness and adherence to established scheduling guidelines
Welcome and orient guests, providing personalized tours of the entire spa facility
Assist in locker room and relaxation areas as needed to ensure a serene, clean, and welcoming environment
Support daily financial operations, including reconciling spa charges, handling cash transactions, and processing hotel postings in accordance with procedures
Requirements:
Legal work authorization in United States
Availability to work seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day, including holidays and weekends
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 60 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
Working knowledge of computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Phone service skills
Interpersonal and good communication skills
Ability to multi-task
