The massage therapist at the Guerlain Spa warmly welcomes guests and delivers high-end massage treatments in accordance with brand standards and hygiene protocols. They ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining the quality, safety, and satisfaction of each treatment, while working collaboratively with the spa team.
Job Responsibility:
Warmly welcome and take care of each guest upon arrival
Perform massage treatments in accordance with the brand’s established standards
Prepare treatment rooms and organize all equipment and products provided
Ensure the quality of each treatment while prioritizing the guest’s safety
Maintain a high standard of work and consistently strive for guest satisfaction
Be responsible for setting up the treatment rooms assigned
Contribute to the achievement of the spa’s goals
Participate in internal training sessions and apply learnings on the floor
Demonstrate a high level of ethics, integrity, and professionalism at all times
Work harmoniously with colleagues and supervisors
Perform any other duties related to the role
Requirements:
Previous experience of 2 to 3 years in a similar position
Professional training in massage therapy with membership in a recognized association, as well as a college diploma in Hospitality Management (preferred but not required if the candidate has relevant experience in massage therapy or a related field)
Strong communication skills in written and spoken French
Proficiency in English is required, as the candidate will regularly interact with a primarily English-speaking clientele
Excellent understanding of how various spa services operate, including benefits, indications, and contraindications
Ability to promote treatments and services without coming across as overly sales-driven
Strong stress management skills and the ability to handle pressure in a positive and effective manner
Strong team spirit and ability to collaborate effectively
Interest in and ability to provide exceptional service to our guests
Excellent interpersonal skills to meet the expectations of a high-end clientele
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct oneself with maturity and integrity at all times
Be organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful
