Spa Houseperson Attendant Job at Spire Hospitality (Stowe)

Job Description

The Spa Houseperson is responsible deep cleaning areas within the spa and outdoor pools neat, clean and well stocked with all amenities.

Clean treatment rooms and public spaces using a vacuum cleaner, broom, cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents
Empty trash throughout the spa, wiping down trash cans as needed
Pick up and restock towels, straighten chairs throughout the indoor and outdoor pool areas
Break down coffee and water stations after the spa and fitness center have closed
Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized spa environment through consistent monitoring of the facility
Clean steam rooms and saunas nightly
Engage with guests and actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention
Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests and ensuring complete guest satisfaction
Possess ability to work without direct supervision
Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management
Maintain personal appearance and grooming standards consistent with company standards

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred
Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience required
Minimum one-year experience providing customer service in a high-end fitness center or luxury spa environment, a plus
Excellent personal appearance, good communication skills and a friendly, congenial personality is a must
Ability to work in a high-volume, busy service environment while maintaining composure and focus on the guest
Must be flexible enough to work a variety shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
