Job Description:

The Spa Receptionist is responsible for proactively welcoming guests, for dealing with all enquiries and being knowledgeable about treatments, products and services. The Spa Receptionist is assisting guests in scheduling treatments and responding to all interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and comfort and is complying with all Four Seasons policies, procedures and standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Proactively welcoming guests
  • Dealing with all enquiries and being knowledgeable about treatments, products and services
  • Assisting guests in scheduling treatments and responding to all interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner
  • Complying with all Four Seasons policies, procedures and standards
  • Provides a professional and relaxed service to all guests, with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism
  • Assisting guests with their arrival and departure at the spa and offers information to guests about other services offered in the spa as well as the hotel
  • Proactively welcome guests with a welcome amenity, makes them feel welcome, pampers them and provide excellent service
  • Is knowledgeable about treatments, products and services offered as well as their pricing, processes and handles gift certificate requests
  • Schedules treatments to maximize use of time within the treatment schedule
  • Keeps all spa reception area neat and cleans including the staff lounge, spa desk, refreshment stations and retail area
  • The retail area will be kept at all times in an impeccable visual appearance with sold items being re-stocked
  • Escorts guests to the appropriate locker room and provides an orientation of the area and amenities if no attendant available

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, in a luxury hotel setting preferred
  • Requires the ability to multi-task on several items at once
  • Working knowledge of computer systems, hotel operating systems and experience with Microsoft Suite
  • Candidate must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication in both English and Spanish language required
