The Spa Attendant/Laundry position is the operational backbone of our Carmel location. This is a back- of-house role responsible for keeping the spa running smoothly through laundry management, facility upkeep, supply restocking, and room turnover support. While this is not a guest-facing role, you will be seen by guests, so a professional demeanor and polished appearance are required at all times. This role is also a pipeline into guest-facing positions. Team members who demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills will be considered for advancement to Front Desk and other hospitality roles.
Job Responsibility:
Complete facility rounds on schedule, checking all common areas, treatment rooms, and restrooms
Manage full laundry cycle: wash, dry, fold, and distribute robes, towels, sheets, and neck wraps
Maintain spa ambiance including lighting, music levels, temperature, cleanliness, and scent consistency
Restock supplies in treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and restrooms before running out
Assist therapists with room changeovers between services to maintain on-time schedule
Follow all safety protocols, including never leaving laundry in dryers or unfolded in baskets (fire risk)
Maintain professional appearance and demeanor when visible to guests
