Job Description:

This SP Trade Monitoring role focuses on monitoring trading activity for potential market abuse within the Global Markets Non-Financial Risk group. The role involves trade surveillance within the Spread Products business and collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibility:

Actively analysing and dealing with market abuse alerts generated
Support scoping, design, and implementation of the trade monitoring to provide risk-based coverage of market abuse/manipulation and rogue trading behaviours globally ensuring compliance to local rules and regulations
Collaborate with other internal areas including Legal, Compliance, Operations, Technology and Business Management to assist with the delivery of required controls
Support data sourcing and data quality processes for transaction monitoring, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to review data quality issues and remediation.

Requirements:

Relevant work experience in financial services in Spread Products(Credit and Securitized Products) Trading, Middle Office or Surveillance
MS Excel, SQL, Python, or other C based coding a plus
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to see the big picture whilst giving high attention to critical details
Ability to develop and implement strategy and process improvement initiatives
5-10 years’ experience in credit related middle office, surveillance, risk management and/or regulatory compliance in technology risk, business continuity, operational risk, supplier risk, or audit and controls
Project management and governance experience with demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed critical milestones
Outstanding leadership, communication, and influencing skills
Ability to foster working relationships with other leaders across multiple lines of business and with support organizations, including auditors and regulators
Demonstrated judgement and critical thinking skills.
