Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SOX Auditor for an immediate contract/consulting engagement. This role is ideal for a hands-on audit professional who can quickly step in, manage complex controls, and support leadership in a fast-paced, highly regulated healthcare environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute SOX and internal controls testing across high-volume, complex processes
  • Document control results, identify deficiencies, and provide practical remediation recommendations
  • Partner directly with leadership and process owners to address control gaps efficiently
  • Prepare clear, audit-ready workpapers and compliance reports

Requirements

  • Proven SOX and internal controls experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly and confidently
  • Healthcare compliance experience strongly preferred
  • Experience navigating complex, high-volume control environments with minimal ramp-up

  • Strong understanding of affiliate transactions, covered transactions, quantitative limits, collateral requirements, and market terms requirements
  • Strong understanding of interaffiliate transaction and correspondent banking requirements
