Job Description:

We provide holistic support, including one to one key work, Support Planning, Life and Employability Skills Workshops and opportunities for personal development. We’re seeking to recruit Relief Support Workers to join the team in providing support to vulnerable people.

Job Responsibility:

Provide holistic support, including one to one key work
Support Planning
Life and Employability Skills Workshops
Provide opportunities for personal development
Support vulnerable people
Prepare service users for increased independence
Use a range of platforms to document information and interactions

Requirements:

Demonstrate a holistic approach in relating to vulnerable people
Understanding of the pressures facing vulnerable people, particularly around homelessness
Ability to engage, relate and motivate vulnerable people
Ability to use initiative and work flexibly in a demanding environment
Strong communication skills
Ability to effectively and efficiently author, read and transfer information both electronically and verbally
Knowledge of word processing programmes such as Word

Nice to have:

Experience working in supported housing with young people
Extensive experience of supporting vulnerable and/or challenging young people
