We are looking for a proactive, forward-thinking, talented chef to head up our events section within a prestigious members' club. You will be able to perform consistently in line with the company’s high standards and have experience producing high-end events for up to 300 individuals and corporate clients. You will work within the kitchen brigade reporting directly to the Head/Executive Chefs.
Job Responsibility:
Day-to-day management of the events kitchen
Managing chefs and kitchen porters
Placing food orders
Overseeing the production and presentation of a variety of events
Work in the restaurant during quieter periods
Cover events at weekends
Be flexible to the needs of the business
Requirements:
Must have worked in an events kitchen at a supervisory level
Excellent communication skills
Good knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
Ability to work alone or as part of a team under pressure
