We're looking for a talented and motivated Sous Chef to support our Head Chef in delivering exceptional culinary experiences across our restaurant, banqueting, and event operations. You'll assist with menu development, oversee day-to-day operations, and help lead and inspire a skilled brigade. Job Responsibility:
Supporting the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations across restaurant and events
Supervising and motivating the kitchen team to deliver consistently high standards
Assisting in menu planning and development with creativity and cost control
Overseeing food preparation and service during busy periods
Ensuring strict compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations
Monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering, and managing waste
Leading by example to maintain a clean, organised, and professional kitchen
Training and developing junior chefs to enhance team performance
Taking responsibility for kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence
Collaborating with front-of-house and events teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience
Requirements:
Experienced at senior level in kitchen operations
