This role involves preparing fresh food for the café service as well as delivering hospitality events including sandwiches, canapés and buffets. The site handles around 100 café transactions daily, alongside hospitality catering for up to 150 covers.

Job Responsibility

  • Supervise and support two Kitchen Porters
  • help run daily kitchen operation serving up to 150 covers per day
  • monitor stock levels, order ingredients, manage inventory to minimise waste
  • support Head Chef with menu planning and preparation
  • oversee daily food preparation ensuring quality, consistency, presentation
  • work efficiently during busy service periods
  • keep kitchen clean, organised, fully compliant with health and safety standards
  • assist with new menu ideas and dishes
  • support food cost control and kitchen budgets
