Sous Chef

• Support the Head Chef to prepare and serve our Traditional British menu consisting of Breakfast, packed lunches and a 3-course evening meal served banqueting style
• Manage the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence including the implementation of Health & Safety
• Develop and supervise our Chef, Kitchen Assistant and Kitchen Porter staff
• Stock take duties and ordering from our external suppliers

• Experience at supervisory level in a busy professional kitchen is essential
• Mature approach to food preparation and the business
• HACCP, The Food Safety Act 1990 (including Allergen Legislation), The Food and Hygiene Regulations and The Fire Regulations
• Ability to be part of a team and flexible to work evenings (9pm finish) and weekends

Experience working with Fresh Ingredients and creating a traditional British cuisine
