We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our team at Southbank Centre in London. This is a large, multi-faceted venue spread across six floors with thousands of visitors passing through each day. The site features several food and beverage outlets, including two coffee shops, three bars, a pizzeria, and a kitchen serving the members’ lounge, alongside a busy programme of events. This is a fast-paced and varied role.
Job Responsibility:
produce food in a timely fashion to ensure smooth service to the customers
ensure food is 'picture perfect' every time
assist in developing and producing new service styles and food concepts
communicate requirements for planned menus and order necessary ingredients
support retail outlets, members’ lounge offering table service and catering
responsible for team of 4/5
Requirements:
background in fine dining, high-end restaurants, or events catering
experience with pizza would be a great advantage
