Job Description:

Exciting opportunity to join an established team at The Walrus. This position would ideally suit a chef with good organisational skills and experience with high volume cooking. Starting rate £14.5 + service charge. Salary options available.

Job Responsibility:

  • Step into the Head Chef’s role when they are off
  • Be creative force behind menus and specials
  • Deliver consistent, fresh, seasonal food
  • Maintain good health & safety standards
  • Train and lead the team

Requirements:

  • Good organisational skills
  • Experience with high volume cooking
  • Good understanding of how dishes are costed
  • Input to menu development and daily specials
