We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join the team at Michelin-starred HIDE. HIDE is an urban oasis from the bustling world, hidden in plain sight. Spread over three floors, two light-filled dining rooms are set around a breathtaking central staircase and enjoy tranquil views over Green Park. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, a sizeable à la carte menu showcases the very best seasonal offerings, largely sourced from a close network of small farmers and suppliers from across the UK. A tasting menu with matching wine flights is also available on both floors. Everything is made in-house wherever possible: from charcuterie and bread to jams, juices and pickles.
Job Responsibility:
Preparing and cooking dishes within your speciality
Supporting the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef to develop new dishes for the menu
Training the junior chefs working with you
Stock control and waste management
Ensuring the brigade follows H&S regulations
Deputising for the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef to manage the brigade
Demonstrating a respectful attitude and responding professionally to the demands of the management team
Requirements:
Experience as a Sous Chef
