Job Responsibility:
Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, performance reviews, and recommending disciplinary actions
stores food in designated areas following corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and cleans workstation thoroughly
interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and relays relevant information to supervisor
monitors inventory and deliveries of product and supplies, tracks production, consumption and waste, and informs supervisor when supplies are low
performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Prior management experience preferred
healthcare experience preferred
ability to work Monday through Friday with rotating weekends
must comply with food safety protocols and sanitation standards
ability to supervise and manage a team
strong organizational and communication skills
One to two years of prior management experience preferred
culinary skills for food preparation according to approved recipes
