ABOUT THE ROLE – SOUS CHEF OPPORTUNITY At Lina Stores, we believe in Hospitality at Heart, and as a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in supporting the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team and delivering exceptional food quality and service standards. You will help create a positive, professional, and collaborative kitchen environment while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and service. Preparing and delivering high-quality Italian dishes with consistency and attention to detail. Assisting in leading, training, and motivating the kitchen team. Maintaining high standards of food preparation, presentation, and cleanliness. Monitoring stock levels, food ordering, and kitchen organisation. Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations at all times. Helping manage kitchen efficiency during busy service periods. Upholding Lina Stores’ values of Heritage, Authenticity, and Quality in every dish served. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR Experienced and professional Sous Chef with strong culinary skills. Passionate about Italian cuisine and high-quality ingredients. Previous experience supervising or training kitchen teams in a professional environment. Calm and organised under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen. Strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail. Level 2 Food Hygiene and Health & Safety certification preferred. Flexible, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
