Job Description

Sous Chef role at Lina Stores, London's iconic Italian delicatessen and restaurant. The role involves supporting the Head Chef, upholding values of Generosity, Empathy, and Community, and preparing high-quality handmade Italian dishes.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the Head Chef in managing the kitchen, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cleanliness
  • Foster a friendly and professional atmosphere
  • Train and coach team
  • Champion Heritage, Authenticity, and Quality
  • Prepare and serve high-quality handmade Italian dishes
  • Assist in managing food orders and maintaining stock levels
  • Uphold Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards across the kitchen

Requirements

  • Hardworking, professional Sous Chef with exceptional culinary skills
  • Passionate about Italian cuisine and delivering top-quality dishes
  • Previous experience in team training and management within a professional kitchen
  • Holds a minimum Level 2 Health & Safety and Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Strong work ethic, flexibility, and ability to work as part of a dynamic team
  • Italian-speaking is advantageous but not essential
