Sous chef

• Oversee the day-to-day smooth running of the kitchen for both events and café coordinating and supervising to ensure company standards and safety compliance
• Contribute to leading and planning the preparation and the production for events up to 2000 guests, and for daily and weekly food selection of the café, including sweet and savoury items
• Lead and motivate a small team of chefs towards a positive and professional working environment
• Monitor par levels, place orders and maintain accurate records and in line with events schedules
• Liaise with other departments for orders, logistics, and deliveries
• Support bakery and pastry production, including daily baking, dessert preparation, and product development
• Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment

• Strong background and a plethora of experience with events
• Experience with or willingness to learn and work within the bakery/pastry section
• Knowledge of Fourth, Alert 65 and Optimize (HOPS) is beneficial
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• A can-do positive demeanour and a friendly attitude
