We currently have an amazing opportunity to join the team as Sous Chef. Duties will include ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, and safety, supervising and training the team, menu planning and ordering, budget control, and quality control.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure the preparation and presentation of the food is of a high standard and complies with food safety regulations
Supervising, training and motivating the team to achieve the highest standards
Actively involved in menu planning, compilation and ordering
Ensuring departmental budgets are controlled
Ensuring high standards of quality control, handling and storage of commodities to current legislation
Actively ensure that dishes are produced to a consistent high standard
Requirements:
Strong experience, ideally at least 1-2 years in a similar position
Ability to deliver great service to guests
Passionate about hospitality
Reliable
Willing to learn as part of a growing team
