Artemis are looking for an experienced Sous chef to work in our newly refurbished kitchen at our Sandhole Oak barn venue in Cheshire. You will need to be self-motivated, calm under pressure with a passion for cooking the finest food using fresh ingredients.
Job Responsibility:
Ensuring high standards of food preparation and service are kept. Maintaining a clean environment
To follow our allergens policy and kitchen management package. (Full training given)
Assisting the head chef with the management of the kitchen team
Daily ordering from suppliers
Day to day reporting to the Head chef and General manager. Responding to emails
Management of Checkit (full training given)
Requirements:
2 years’ experience in a similar position and used to providing for 100+ covers using fresh ingredients together with a strong background in food led establishments
A passion for cooking
A proven track record, with good references to support your CV
Kitchen management and Communication skills
Own transport is essential due to the location
Candidates must be eligible to work full-time in the UK
