Job Responsibility:
Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures for the account
assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
produce and execute catering events
roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
supervise hourly associates and maintain quality standards
assist with ordering and inventory management
ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards
Requirements:
Minimum education level of A.S. or equivalent experience
progressive experience in culinary or kitchen management
must be able to manage high volume foodservice operations
proven ability to assist with menu planning and cost control
proficiency in computer use including Microsoft Office and Outlook
willingness to participate in client satisfaction activities
certification in food safety such as ServSafe preferred
some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
catering experience preferred
experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations
knowledge of institutional and batch cooking
comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and internet
willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
