Job Responsibility:
Assist the Executive Sous Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including production, staffing, and quality control
Lead, train, and mentor culinary team members to foster skill development, teamwork, and engagement
Ensure consistent execution of menus, recipes, and plating standards across all service periods
Uphold food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies
Support menu development, tastings, and seasonal offerings with creativity and attention to detail
Monitor inventory, food costs, and waste to support budgetary and sustainability goals
Step into leadership during the Executive Chef’s absence, ensuring seamless operations and guest satisfaction
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment
Strong culinary foundation with a passion for quality ingredients, technique, and presentation
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a diverse culinary team
Solid understanding of food safety standards, kitchen operations, and cost control
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
