The Pastry Sous Chef will be responsible for the preparation, creation and execution of all desserts and other baked goods and will assist in overseeing the overall running of the pastry kitchen, cleanliness and organization.
Job Responsibility:
Supervising Chefs de Partie, Demi-Chefs de Partie, Commis, Trainees
Place orders and ensure merchandise follow-up
Implement and ensure compliance with technical specifications and the spirit of the kitchen established by the Pastry Chef
Participate in menu development
Responsible for the preparation, creation and execution of all desserts and other baked goods
Assist in overseeing the overall running of the pastry kitchen, cleanliness and organization
Requirements:
Two to five years previous experience in pastry leadership position
The ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems
You must possess the legal right to work in France at the time of application
Have fluency in French and English
