Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with the Head Chef to oversee kitchen operations for all events, from prep to plate
Lead event kitchen teams during service, ensuring timely execution, consistency, and excellence
Uphold rigorous standards of food safety, cleanliness, and presentation in accordance with health codes and company policies
Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to perform at their best especially during high-pressure
Manage inventory, supplier coordination, and cost controls to stay within budget while maintaining quality
Assist in staff scheduling and performance management when the Head Chef is unavailable
Communicate effectively with event planners, service staff, and management to ensure seamless food service across all functions
Requirements:
Has interest in culinary arts and cooking
Has either been working as a Sous Chef already or a CDP who is ready for their next step
Proven commercial or restaurant kitchen experience
Pays attention to detail
Strong communication and organizational skills
