SOUS-CHEF AT STOCKHOLM ISLAND RESTAURANT – 1 POSITION, STOCKHOLM. The Restaurant is located on an island in the Stockholm archipelago, about an hour from the city. On the island there are several different businesses that are all part of the same organization. This means that there is colleagues who work in several different professions. However, the closest colleagues are chefs, kitchen managers, dishwashers and wait staff. Nationalities can vary but are mainly Swedes. However, among them there are also people from Mongolia, Ukraine and various Baltic countries.
Job Responsibility:
Regular work as a chef with experience in a la carte
Administrative aspects such as scheduling, menu planning, orders, and planning and monitoring of kitchen routines and cleaning & hygiene routines
Requirements:
English, communicative, spoken
Positive to physical work
Having good health condition (no back problems)
Experienced sous-chef
Experienced with ordering supplies
Minimum 5 years experience with a la carte
Teamwork ability and possibility to work alone on occasion
Nice to have:
Swedish language is a plus (not compulsory)
Flexible person who is fit, social and communicative
Used to teamwork
Coaching talented
The candidate have at least a handful of years previous experience and have worked at different locations
In the field as chef knows international cuisine and traditions
The person is a problem fixer when challenges occur
