Job Description:

Beacon Hill Financial is working with a healthcare company in Manhattan to bring an experienced Sourcing/Procurement Specialist to their team. This role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, leading competitive sourcing events, negotiating supplier agreements, and identifying opportunities to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and reduce organizational risk.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals, budgets, and operational needs
  • Conduct spend analysis across categories, suppliers, and business units to identify cost‑saving and optimization opportunities
  • Perform market research to assess supplier capabilities, trends, and emerging technologies
  • Use data and analytics to support sourcing decisions and negotiation strategies
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contract conditions in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on capability, financial stability, performance, and risk
  • Manage sourcing documentation and support contract execution activities
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand ongoing spend needs and provide sourcing guidance
  • Act as a trusted internal advisor, facilitating discussions and resolving sourcing‑related issues

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or a related supply chain function
  • Demonstrated experience leading sourcing initiatives, RFx processes, and contract negotiations
  • Strong project management skills, including defining deliverables, milestones, and timelines
