Job Responsibility:

  • Build and develop strong and mutually beneficial partnerships with key suppliers
  • Coordinate all supplier-related activities throughout the value chain
  • Develop global sourcing commodity strategy and ensure implementation in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Support, interface and coordination with regional local sourcing teams
  • Global management of the commodity in collaboration with local teams
  • Close collaboration with the Service department to guarantee the best understanding of business needs and objectives
  • Drive price and capacity negotiation process to ensure that Nordex prices are best in class
  • Lead the negotiations of Framework Agreements
  • Ensuring that purchasing procedures are followed in the region, reporting to the corporate function and KPIs achievement at supplier level
  • Participate in internal Workstreams (cost out programs, localization initiatives etc.)

Requirements:

  • Business and/or Engineering degree
  • First professional experience in purchasing in the wind industry desirable
  • Experience in sourcing O&M services is welcome
  • Keen on working in an international environment and facing new challenges
  • Strategic thinking and negotiating skills as well as cost and quality awareness
  • Responsible, service-oriented, team player, goal-oriented, good communication skills, proactiveness and independent way of working
  • High degree of reliability and ability to work in a team
  • Good MS Office skills and SAP skills
  • Availability to travel
  • Business fluent in English
