Job Description:

The purpose of the role is to take direct responsibility for the sourcing category of furniture assembly and installation services in specific regions of Poland, last mile parcel distribution and Pickup Points across the country. Additionally, the role includes supporting analytics for last mile bulky distribution.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading RFI, RFQ and RFP processes
  • Defining business needs and specifications in collaboration with relevant departments
  • Managing the supplier portfolio, evaluating suppliers, and developing supplier relationship
  • Creating and executing a cost-saving strategies within the managed sourcing category
  • Driving the process for building market intelligence, for the development of blended sourcing options, for the development of a healthy pool of potential service partners
  • Securing seamless cooperation with a customer-centric, collaborative, end-to-end and process-oriented mind-set towards both country and group Functions and other stakeholders
  • Leading assigned sourcing activities, projects and initiatives in the country and responsible for securing that the results meet the actual goals connected to the growth plan
  • Implementation of the Global Sourcing Process in the country including the group legal contract package and for the management of all assigned contracts in the country securing compliance of all contractual obligations
  • Contribution to the global improvement projects and the development of global and country sourcing process, ways of working, tools and working method
  • Ensuring that the Customer Fulfilment sustainability agenda is included in all aspect of the business directly connected to and influenced by Strategic Sourcing

Requirements:

  • University degree in Economics, Logistics, Business Administration or relevant working experience
  • 2-4 years working experience in developing business development roadmaps, contract management, negotiations, business analysis or project management
  • Knowledge of the legislation and regulations governing the logistics fulfilment industry
  • Good business understanding and good knowledge of purchasing furniture assembly and installation services, or last mile distribution procurement
  • End-to-end orientation: ability to apply analytical process-oriented thinking including planning and maintaining work process
  • Strong analytical capability to enable translation of business and customer needs into development initiatives
  • Market & industry intelligence
  • Change and stakeholder management
  • Supplier relationship management
  • Financial competence and understanding of the financial impact on total network
  • Experience with usage of tender tools (preferable SAP Ariba and Coupa)
  • Fluency in Polish and English
