Job Description:

In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in analyzing procurement processes, optimizing costs, and maintaining accurate documentation to support organizational goals. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with global teams and contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Evaluate bills of materials to track part changes, monitor costs, and ensure data accuracy, while developing actionable plans for the sourcing team
  • Organize and maintain process documentation, supplier details, and team assignments in a structured and accessible manner
  • Conduct audits on critical documentation and propose actionable improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Analyze procurement activities to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved inventory management
  • Prepare and implement engineering change orders to align sourcing and purchasing processes with organizational requirements
  • Collaborate closely with Global Sourcing Managers and Material Planning teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals
  • Monitor market conditions and supply chain trends to identify challenges and opportunities for sourcing categories
  • Provide insights into technology advancements and supply-demand dynamics to support informed decision-making

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or a related field
  • Proficiency in purchasing functions, including creating and managing purchase orders
  • Strong understanding of merchant services and procurement activities
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for analyzing data and generating reports
  • Ability to audit and improve documentation processes
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage supplier information and team assignments
  • Strong analytical skills to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize inventory
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating across global teams
