As our Sonographer, you will utilize advanced sonographic equipment to record detailed images of blood, organs, tissues, and bodily masses, including unborn fetuses, providing critical visual data for diagnosis and prenatal care.
Job Responsibility:
Utilize advanced sonographic equipment to record detailed images of blood, organs, tissues, and bodily masses, including unborn fetuses
Directly interact with patients, explaining procedures, answering questions, and preparing them for scans
Meticulously operate sonographic equipment, adjusting settings and patient positions to ensure clear, diagnostic images
Monitor and care for patients to ensure their safety and comfort
Select and examine images for pathologies
Present preliminary findings to Physicians
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures in accordance with department standards
Operate all ultrasound equipment, computers, and accessories
Demonstrate competency in imaging processing procedures (PACs)
Identify and initiate accurate assessment of life-threatening conditions
Troubleshoot equipment and cooperate with service personnel
Initiate service calls on all equipment assigned to the area
Charge exams and supplies on a daily basis
Maintain and update logs and documentation on a daily basis
Requirements:
2 years high-risk/level II OB Ultrasound including Fetal Echo
Experienced with US guided invasive fetal procedures including amniocentesis and CVS
AHA Basic Life Support
One of the following: Registered Cardiac Electr (RCES), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI (RCS), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Abdomen (RDMSAB), Registered Technologist Computed Tomography (RTCT), Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT), Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
