Job Description:

We are seeking highly qualified, HCPC-registered Sonographers to join a high-standard medical centre in Hornchurch. This clinic prides itself on providing a premium level of patient care within a sophisticated clinical environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician looking to secure regular ad hoc sessions. Due to a one-month site sign-off process, we are looking to identify and submit specialised candidates immediately to ensure a seamless June start.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Pregnancy and Gynaecology
  • Expertise in Upper Abdomen and Kidneys
  • Full HCPC registration is essential

Nice to have:

  • Musculoskeletal (MSK)
  • Lumps and Bumps / Hernias
  • DVT Duplex

  • assumes responsibility for the safe, efficient and proper operation of ultrasound equipment
  • performs echocardiograms only if at S EH
  • keeps abreast of FHS standards, protocols and procedures relating to the department
  • keeps skills current
  • demonstrates evidence of continuing education
  • attends department, local and national professional meetings
  • avails themselves of individualized learning opportunities to stay current on new procedures, equipment or information
  • prepares/operates a variety of diagnostic ultrasound equipment in accordance with American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) standards and department protocols
  • operates ultrasound equipment to produce and record images of the motion, shape and composition of blood, organs, tissues and bodily masses such as fluid accumulations
