Job Responsibility:
Presenting, recommending, and serving wines to guests according to the highest standards of fine dining
Curating wine pairings that complement the tasting menus and seasonal offerings
Managing the wine cellar inventory, storage, and rotation with precision
Maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and presentation of the wine cellar, service stations, and all wine-related areas
Conducting wine tastings, training, and guidance for staff to ensure consistent service excellence
Keeping up-to-date with wine trends, new vintages, and industry developments
Assisting in the development and updating of the restaurant’s wine list in collaboration with the Head Sommelier and Chef
Ensuring all service interactions with guests are professional, elegant, and knowledgeable
Coordinating with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth and timely service during all services
Maintaining impeccable personal presentation and adhering to the restaurant’s Gold Standards
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sommelier in Michelin-starred or fine dining restaurants
Exceptional knowledge of wine regions, vintages, and pairing techniques
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment
Passion for luxury hospitality and attention to detail
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Fluent in Spanish and English
