We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sommelier to join the team. The ideal candidate must have 2-5 years of previous Sommelier experience in a fine dining setting, must be a self-starter, possess a positive attitude and be comfortable working alongside a team of Food & Beverage professionals.
Job Responsibility:
Advise the guest on wine selection
Supervise the day-to-day wine service
Select and consolidate the wine list by adhering to the budget and beverage cost, the requests of the guests and the concept of the outlet
Conduct staff training on product knowledge with a weekly frequency
Work closely with Lido Restaurant General Manager and Lido Restaurant Chef for product development
Responsible for weekly and monthly wine inventories of all F&B outlets
Responsible for creating, modifying and printing the wine list
Requirements:
2-5 years of previous Sommelier experience in a fine dining setting
Must be a self-starter
Possess a positive attitude
Comfortable working alongside a team of Food & Beverage professionals
Ability to advise the guest on wine selection and to supervise the day-to-day wine service
Experience with and knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines is highly preferred
US work authorization is required unless the candidate is currently in a managerial position at a Four Seasons location
