Job Description:

This role has been designed as ‘’Onsite’ with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office. The job family spans across multiple engineering disciplines. Work consists of designing, developing, analyzing, troubleshooting and debugging systems, software and solutions for research and/or research development of product, services, and solutions for HPE’s portfolio. Requires a broad knowledge and application of engineering disciplines, methodologies and tools. European Performance and Solutions team under Sales and Solutions Engineering organisation is involved in hosting customer and partner engagements in terms of PoCs/Pilots/Benchmarks. Team is responsible for all the EMEA Geos and additionally support Latin America, India and other Geos as need. Team supports engagements in various solution domains such as Storage, Spec Benchmarks, AI, Cloud etc., with specific focus on customer use cases testing.

Job Responsibility:

Engage with field teams (Sales, presales, specialists, partners) on customer opportunities and support PoC/Pilots/Solution showcase/benchmarking engagements
Responsible for qualifying the opportunity, define the technical scope and success criteria for the engagement and ensure success of the engagement
Responsible for interfacing with the customer and field teams through out the lifecycle of the engagement
Set up the PoC/Benchmark setup, on board the customer/partner and provide technical support throughout the engagement
Leverage own technical skills, peers in the team and the larger engineering capabilities in the organisation to provide in-depth technical expertise to make the customer/partner engagement successful

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
Typically 6-10 years experience
Good understanding of Data Center technologies such as Server, Storage, Networking etc.
Broader understanding of HPE portfolio of products, technology and solutions
Hands-on experience in one or more of technology areas such as Server, OS, Storage, Cloud, AI, performance engineering, automation, networking etc.
Experience in overall architecture of products and solutions and have contributed to PoCs, benchmarking, integrations and testing/validation
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Customer facing experience and skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
mastery in English and local language
