We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our growing Solutions Engineering team, covering the EMEA region from a UK base. This is a hybrid pre-sales and post-sales role that blends sales engineering, solutions architecture, and technical account management — making you a trusted technical partner to prospects and customers across the full customer lifecycle.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with Sales to drive deal velocity and win rates by delivering compelling technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements
Position Anaconda's platform as the right technical solution for enterprise prospects
Respond to technical requirements in RFPs and support the Sales team in navigating complex enterprise procurement processes
Serve as a trusted technical advisor post-close, guiding customers through implementation, onboarding, and platform adoption
Identify and develop expansion opportunities
Partner with Customer Success to contribute to strong net revenue retention
Provide architectural guidance and best practices
Leverage knowledge of the Python ecosystem, data science workflows, and AI/ML frameworks
Develop and maintain demo environments, reference architectures, and technical documentation
Stay current with trends in AI, LLMs, and enterprise data science
Serve as a voice of the customer
Collaborate with Marketing on technical content, use cases, and customer stories
Actively contribute to the broader Solutions Engineering team
Represent Anaconda at customer sites, industry events, and conferences
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, solutions architecture, technical account management, or a closely related customer-facing technical role
Familiarity with Python and the broader data science ecosystem sufficient to configure and deliver compelling product demonstrations
Understanding of AI/ML concepts and how enterprises are adopting AI and LLM-based technologies
Proven ability to build strategic relationships with enterprise customers and navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments
Strong communication and presentation skills
Experience working in a pre-sales, post-sales, or blended technical customer engagement model
Self-motivated and effective working remotely and independently across a distributed team
Proficiency in English and French
Nice to have:
Experience with data science platforms, Python distributions, developer tooling, or enterprise package management
Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, and governance requirements in regulated industries
Background working with or selling into large enterprise accounts
Experience in a high-growth or product-expanding technology company
Existing knowledge of Anaconda's product suite or the open source Python ecosystem
