Job Responsibility
Contribute to client implementation projects by completing assigned engineering tasks across development, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities
Develop, configure, test, and support applications, APIs, integrations, data solutions, and technical components required for client delivery
Collaborate with Senior Solutions Engineers, Technical Leads, project leadership, and client teams to deliver quality technical solutions
Support defect resolution, technical validation, implementation activities, and deployment support throughout the project lifecycle
Work from business requirements and technical designs to deliver maintainable, scalable, and high-quality solutions
Participate in project meetings and technical discussions while communicating progress, risks, blockers, and technical questions
Support integrations between insurance platforms, enterprise systems, third-party applications, and internal tools
Follow established development standards, code review expectations, documentation practices, and delivery processes
Contribute to internal innovation initiatives, reusable accelerators, automation efforts, and engineering best practices
Explore and apply emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development and agentic coding tools, to improve engineering productivity and delivery capabilities
Requirements
Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience contributing to enterprise software delivery
Experience with technologies such as C#, .NET, SQL, APIs, JavaScript/Angular, Azure, or similar modern development tools and platforms
Experience working with integrations, APIs, data-related components, configuration, and supporting technical systems
Familiarity with software development best practices including source control, testing, code reviews, documentation, and Agile delivery processes
Ability to analyze requirements, understand technical direction, and apply feedback from senior technical team members
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively raise questions and blockers
Experience working in client delivery, consulting, or services-based environments preferred
Experience within P&C insurance, policy administration, billing, claims, or related insurance platforms strongly preferred
Exposure to Duck Creek or similar insurance core systems is a plus
Experience using AI-assisted development, automation, or agentic coding tools preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
3+ years of professional software engineering experience
Ability to travel as needed and flexibility to support project work outside standard business hours when required
